Collection of personal data and intended use
The primary basis for the processing of personal data is the customer relationship between the customer and Remion, the data controller’s legitimate interest, the customer’s consent, a mandate provided by the customer or other appropriate contact.
We collect information on our website, so that we can provide visitors of our website a better user experience, for the maintenance and management of customer relationships, as well as for enabling communications required by the service. For example, on the forms presented on the website, we may ask for information, such as name, company and email, as well as supplementary details such as title. Regular disclosure of data
Register data may be disclosed within the Data controller’s group and with the Data controller’s subcontractors. We demand all subcontractors to observe legislation.
The data controller may also subcontract the processing of your personal data to companies outside the company, and they may be located in countries outside the European Union and the European Economic Area, such as in the United States. These companies may process your personal data to offer, for example, infrastructure and IT services, or other services. In these situations, sufficient data security and the processing of the register is ensured with EU-U.S. – Privacy Shield arrangements, or by means of agreement with the use of model clauses approved by the European Commission.

Protection principles of the register
Data is stored in a technically protected manner. Physical access to data has been prevented with access control and other security measures. Access to the information requires sufficient rights, as well as multi-staged authentication. Unauthorised access is also prevented by means of e.g. firewalls and other technical protection. Only the data controller and separately appointed persons have access to the register data. The users are subject to a non-disclosure obligation. The register data is safely back-upped, and they can be restored, if necessary. The level of data security is audited at regular intervals by either external or internal audits.

Retention period
The data controller shall store personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose the data has been collected, within the limitations set out by law and in accordance with the requirements of laws and regulations, particularly in accordance with accounting requirements.

Right to review and amend register data
The register’s data subjects have the right to review, rectify or remove their own data or refuse data processing for justified reasons. Requests must be made in writing and submitted to the data controller. In accordance with legal requirements, you must sign your request and attach to it a photocopy of your identification document, which shows your signature. You must also indicate an address to which the response is sent.

    The data of the marketing register is obtained via the customer relationship, from Remion Oy’s website (contact forms, material downloads, newsletter subscription forms), from registrations to Remion Oy’s events or from other similar information disclosed by the person.

    The aim of the register is to process and store job applications received by Remion Oy. The applicant may appoint the application to a desired job or submit an open application.
    Information disclosed by the jobseeker are retained in the register for a period of two (2) years, and they can be reviewed again in connection with later vacancies. The applicant’s data is stored confidentially, and they are only available to those participating in the recruitment process.
